There are two ways personal data is collected in connection with this site. First, the contact form, whose data we use solely to answer your enquiry and, if it comes to that, to carry on the business correspondence related to your request. Filling in the form is voluntary. Full name, so we know who we are addressing. Company name, to understand the context of the enquiry. Email address, so we can reply. Phone number (optional), only if you want us to reach you by phone. Message, a description of what you are writing to us about. Second, the "Book an Audit" links on this site, which take you to Ritmo, our own scheduling product. Booking a call there means giving Ritmo your name, email, and the time you picked, which syncs to our calendar and triggers a confirmation email. Ritmo is a separate Akia Consulting product with its own booking-data handling; nothing you enter there is shared with this site beyond what's needed to hold the calendar slot and confirm the meeting.

When you submit the form, the data you entered is forwarded as an email over SMTP to office@akiaconsulting.com. The message reaches us and stays within our business mailbox. We do not sell, rent, or hand your data to advertisers or data brokers. We share it only where the law or a competent authority requires it.

We process the contact-form data on the basis of the consent you give by sending the message, or to take steps at your request before a possible contract is entered into. The protection against form abuse (reCAPTCHA and request rate limiting) rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functional. We process data in accordance with the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act. For visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies where it is the governing law.

The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which distinguishes genuine visitors from automated spam. Google acts as an independent processor in that step, and Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it. Apart from reCAPTCHA, the site uses no other third-party tools for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Your theme choice (light or dark) and your language choice (English or Serbian) are stored in your browser's local storage, purely so we can remember those settings on your next visit. Those values stay in your browser, are not sent to us, and do not identify you. The site sets no advertising cookies and no cookies that track visitor behaviour. We do not use Google Analytics, marketing pixels, or similar profiling technologies.

We keep messages sent through the contact form for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any correspondence that follows, then delete them, unless a regulation obliges us to keep them longer. A visitor's IP address is held transiently in the server's memory to limit an excessive number of requests, is not written to persistent storage, and is discarded once a short window elapses.

You have the rights provided by the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act and, where relevant, the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, objection, withdrawal of consent at any time, and the right to complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection. Send a request to office@akiaconsulting.com and we will act on it within the statutory time limit.

The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions travel over a secured SMTP connection. We apply security headers and limit access to the business mailbox to authorised people. No transmission of data over the internet is entirely without risk, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We may amend this policy from time to time; the version in force is always published on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
